I have several years of consulting and research experience in wide-range of geotechnical engineering applications, including tunnel design, earthquake engineering specializing in seismically induced earth pressure on retaining and basement structures, underground structure support design. I also am experienced in the installation and data analysis for various rock-stress and displacement measuring devices and physical modeling specializing in Geo-Centrifuge testing. I have particular skill in numerical modeling for geotechnical engineering, slope stability, tunneling, and underground excavation. In addition to my expertise in using numerical tools in simulating ground behavior, I'm completely familiar with the theory of Discontinuous Deformation Analysis (DDA), Discrete Element Method (DEM) as well as Finite Element Method (FEM). I have several years of experience in the development of numerical models in geomechanics and mining engineering.
